Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading company serving the agricultural sector in Northern Ireland. This role involves carrying out mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The position is primarily dayshift, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with potential future shift options and higher earnings through shift premiums and overtime.

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns
• Fault finding and troubleshooting machine issues
• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Fit mechanical parts and undertake fabrication work
• Work effectively with engineering drawings
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Adhere to Health & Safety and company policies

Candidate Requirements:

• Time-served Maintenance Fitter/Engineer
• Experience in manufacturing environments working with automated equipment
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
• Preferably experience with fabrication, lathes, and milling
