Job summary

ConSpare is seeking a Technical Sales Adviser to join our team in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will combine a mechanical mindset with excellent communication to provide technical advice, answer enquiries, and handle quotations and orders.

This is a varied role with training and development opportunities, a discretionary bonus scheme, 24 days’ holiday plus public holidays, and on-site parking in a great working environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent communication skills, telephone manner and writing ability.
• Strong customer service focus with selling capability.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; commercially aware in conversations.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales enquiries and provide technical advice to customers.
• Produce and follow up quotations, raise sales orders and analyze lost orders.
• Engage in continuous improvement to Make it better and share information promptly.
• Build strong customer relationships and manage departmental workload with the team.
• Seek opportunities for marketing case studies and social media posts.
