Job description

RCM Ltd is partnering with a privately owned Building Services contractor located within the East Midlands, with projects spanning across the UK. They specialise in MEP installations within sectors such as commercial, distribution/logistics, educational, residential, and leisure.

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Project Managers and Mechanical Project Engineers interested in managing small-scale Mechanical projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities of a Mechanical Project Manager include:

1. Overseeing MEP installations to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
2. Managing teams to meet deadlines and facilitate successful project handovers.
3. Reporting weekly to the Mechanical Director.
4. Providing estimates for potential tenders.
5. Managing projects from inception through to handover.
6. Ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials to prevent delays.
7. Managing direct staff and subcontractors.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience with an MEP or Building Services Contractor, including estimating experience.
• NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering.
• CSCS Card.
