Job Description: Financial Crime Screening Specialist

Business Unit: COO, Financial Crime

Salary Range: £39,200 - £49,000 DOE + benefits

Location: UK Remote with occasional travel

Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role

Join our team responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our financial crime systems, including transaction monitoring, name screening, and payment screening. Your focus will be on configuring and calibrating these systems to mitigate risks and meet policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage sanctions screening for cross-border payments, ensuring compliance with policy requirements.
2. Configure and calibrate screening systems, including designing rules and adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
3. Explore technological advancements to enhance system performance and control frameworks.
4. Support system change initiatives, including defining requirements, testing, and implementation.
5. Develop and deliver Management Information (MI) for performance and governance reporting.
6. Conduct data analytics on customer, account, and transaction data to inform system development.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Firco Continuity 5.7 or above, including writing rules and managing watchlists with Fircosoft Multi List Manager.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL or SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Experience working with watch list data, including PEPs and sanctions.
• Knowledge of control frameworks and control testing for name screening solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Experience with name screening, adverse media screening, or transaction monitoring.
• Experience analyzing XML data.
