Job summary

Altera Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead several SE projects, guiding them from survey and planning through procurement, site delivery and commissioning. You will coordinate teams, suppliers and subcontractors while ensuring safety, programme, quality and budget targets are met.

The role requires an engineering background with utilities experience and a full UK driving licence, and offers a competitive salary with on-call flexibility and benefits after

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in project management or delivery-focused role.
• Engineering background, ideally utilities or water infrastructure.
• Knowledge of site health and safety legislation and practice.
• Ability to organise multiple projects and workstreams.
• Clear communication with clients, site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Survey new and existing projects to establish technical and operational requirements.
• Develop project specifications and maintain site information and documentation.
• Coordinate supplier/subcontractor quotations, labour requirements and tender inputs.
• Manage procurement, subcontractors and site delivery from award to completion.
• Prepare and manage RAMS and maintain health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Coordinate internal teams and maintain communication with clients throughout delivery and commissioning.
