Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support delivery of permanent water infrastructure projects. The role covers design, procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover within the water and utilities sector.

You will deliver mechanical engineering activities across water and wastewater projects, review designs, coordinate installations, and work with project managers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure compliance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical project engineering within water/utilities sector.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of project delivery processes, health and safety requirements and quality standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work across office, site and project environments.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of permanent water infrastructure projects. Working within the water and utilities sector, the role will involve providing mechanical engineering expertise across the full project lifecycle, from design and procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover.
