Job summary

Evergreen Talent Group seeks a highly experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a major hyperscale data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. You will manage high-value mechanical packages from design through testing and handover, coordinating with electrical and BAS teams.

The role offers exposure to complex cooling, ventilation, water-treatment and BMS interfaces, with clear progression to Senior Mechanical Engineer or Project Director while supporting professional memberships and

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
Minimum five years' experience managing mechanical packages on major projects.
Experience as Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Construction Manager or Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and cooling systems.
Experience with design, procurement, commissioning and handover.
Willingness to work on Blyth site and eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for assigned mechanical packages from pre-construction through handover.
Develop and implement the mechanical delivery strategy.
Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, CSA, architectural and specialist systems packages.
Monitor package performance and implement corrective actions where required.
Lead Mechanical Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and specialist vendors.
Review Employer's Requirements, specifications and drawings; ensure design changes are incorporated.
