Job summary

Verto People is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead immersive, hyperscale data centre delivery in the UK. You will manage mechanical work from design through completion, coordinating stakeholders, contractors and on-site teams to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Based on site in the UK, the role offers permanent or contract opportunities with strong leadership responsibility across full life cycle delivery on critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong ability to deliver full life cycle mechanical projects from design to completion.
• Excellent on-site leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical project delivery throughout the full project life cycle
• Oversee day-to-day mechanical project activities on-site
• Coordinate project progress, ensuring works are delivered safely and effectively
• Work with project stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to support successful delivery
• Monitor project requirements, timelines and technical standards
• Provide leadership and direction across mechanical project activities
• Support the delivery of complex mission-critical infrastructure works
