Verto People is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead immersive, hyperscale data centre delivery in the UK. You will manage mechanical work from design through completion, coordinating stakeholders, contractors and on-site teams to ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Based on site in the UK, the role offers permanent or contract opportunities with strong leadership responsibility across full life cycle delivery on critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

A Senior Mechanical Project Manager is required to deliver a major mission-critical infrastructure project for a specialist engineering business. This role will suit an experienced mechanical project professional with a background in data centres or full life cycle delivery of large-scale, complex projects.

The role offers the opportunity to work on a hyperscale data centre project, with responsibility for managing mechanical project delivery on-site. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site five days per week and can be considered on either a permanent or contract basis.

Senior Mechanical Project Manager:

• Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager or similar mechanical project delivery role
• Experience working on data centre projects or large-scale mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical project delivery from design through to completion
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work on-site five days per week in Iver
• Strong project management, communication and leadership skillsCandidates with experience delivering full life cycle projects within other large-scale or mission-critical environments will also be considered.
