Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Mechanical Plumber for a static site in Templecombe, Somerset. You will perform mechanical and plumbing maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and boilers, with on‑site support from electrical and multi‑skilled engineers. The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern and long‑term career progression.

The position provides extensive training, enhanced benefits, and a clear pathway for long‑term progression within a technically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Carry out mechanical and plumbing PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain and repair AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and extract systems.
• Service and maintain commercial heating systems and boilers.
• Fault find on pumps, motors, valves and pressurisation units.
• Carry out commercial and domestic plumbing repairs.
• Maintain pipework, sanitaryware and water distribution systems.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and complete remedial works.
• Support shutdowns, projects and asset replacement programmes.
• Work alongside electrical and multi-skilled engineers across the site.
• Participate in the on-call rota when required.

Location: Templecombe, Somerset (BA8)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 | 40 Hours Per Week

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent | Static Site

We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join an established engineering team on a high-profile, critical site in Templecombe

The Role:
