Job summary

HVAC Recruitment in Bristol is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent, on-site role at a commercial office site. The position offers a salary of £34,000–£38,000 and a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule.

You will carry out planned maintenance and reactive tasks across the building, including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and valves, with plant-room checks and general mechanical repairs. A strong mechanical bias and good fault-finding skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial building services, facilities management or mechanical maintenance.
• Good fault-finding skills and a strong mechanical bias.
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Site: Commercial Office - Landlord Side

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer on a permanent basis at a commercial office site in Bristol.

This is a static, Monday-to-Friday position working as part of the on-site engineering team, carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the building.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Maintenance and fault finding on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and valves
• Plant room maintenance and checks
• General mechanical repairs and fault finding
• Basic plumbing maintenance and repairs
• General building services maintenance

Requirements

• Previous experience within commercial building services, facilities management or mechanical maintenance
• Strong mechanical bias
• Experience working with AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves and associated plant
• Basic plumbing experience
• Relevant City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing or equivalent preferred
• Good fault-finding skills
• Comfortable working in a client-facing environment

Package

£34,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
