Job summary

Equation Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing to service a portfolio of commercial sites across London. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and water hygiene duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a City & Guilds plumbing qualification, a full UK driving licence, and at least 3 years in commercial building services. Overtime and call-out rates are enhanced, with a support-focused team approach.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or equivalent Plumbing qualification required.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years' commercial building services maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of RAMS, Permit to Work and Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing systems.
• Fault-finding and repairs on commercial plumbing.
• Work across domestic hot/cold water systems, booster sets, pumps and TMVs.
• Complete digital job sheets and reports.
• Participate in emergency call-out rota.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors.

Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing

To 45k, + overtime and call out rates

London | Permanent | 40 Hours | Monday-Friday

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing to join our clients busy maintenance team, working across a range of commercial and high-profile sites throughout London.

The Role of Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Plumbing

You will be responsible for:

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Fault-finding and repairs to commercial plumbing systems.
• Domestic hot and cold water systems, booster sets, pumps, pressurisation units and TMVs.
• Water hygiene, temperature monitoring and Legionella-related duties.
• Minor plumbing installations and remedial works.
• Completing digital job sheets, reports and records.
• Working closely with clients, colleagues and subcontractors.
• Participating in an emergency call-out rota.

About You

You will need:

• City & Guilds or equivalent Plumbing qualification - essential.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years' commercial building services maintenance experience.
• Strong commercial plumbing and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with pumps, booster sets and hot water systems.
• Knowledge of water hygiene and Legionella requirements.
• Good understanding of RAMS, Permit to Work and Health & Safety.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

TMV, L8, IPAF, PASMA or additional mechanical/electrical qualifications would be advantageous.
