Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – City of London, Bank - Up to £48,000

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based near Bank has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to work on a commercial office contract located in the City of London. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the site maintenance team.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance with a proven track record in electrical or mechanical building maintenance. The company offers a competitive salary of up to £48,000, overtime, further training, and opportunities for career progression.

Hours of Work

• 4 on 4 off days shift – 07:00 to 19:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (installation, fault-finding, lamp replacement, etc.)
• Emergency lighting testing
• Control panels maintenance
• Changing ballasts
• BMS system monitoring (e.g., hot & cold)
• Maintaining and updating log books
• Plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets
• Pumps and motors maintenance

Requirements

• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
