Job Overview

Heavy manufacturing engineering company specialising in sustainable paper recycling, based in Birmingham, requires a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their established team of engineers. The role involves working on a Day shift (Monday - Friday, 8.00 - 4.30) with an excellent salary plus overtime.

Responsibilities

• Maintain manufacturing equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, fans, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Support operational teams with a positive, hands-on approach.

Candidate Requirements

• Apprentice Trained in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience within the process manufacturing industry.
• Strong commitment to Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
