Tier 3 Senior Gas Technician

Location: UK - North Region

Salary: Negotiable depending on Experience with £900 Flexible Benefits Fund

Penspen is seeking a High Pressure Gas Technician for our Asset Management team based in the North area.

Main Purpose of Role:

To safely operate, maintain, repair, and improve clients' assets within the Gas Energy sector.

Undertake works* in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.

There may be overnight stays required during the execution of works.

Work on high-pressure down to low-pressure gas regulators, meeting regulatory compliance for PSSR, and perform mechanical maintenance on gas network assets for multiple clients.

Please apply if you are a Qualified HP Technician (experienced with regulators/governors) or hold Gas Safe - CMA1 or CCN1 - CMET1 - CMET2 - TCPC1.

* There may be a requirement for overnight stays during the execution of works.

Technical Excellence

• Complete maintenance on a variety of LP/IP/HP gas process equipment, including commissioning, overhauls, and functional checks.
• Carry out duties independently and in potentially remote or hazardous locations.
• Operate and maintain mobile plant, mechanical lifting and handling equipment, tools, and other equipment safely, adhering to safety codes, legal standards, and company policies. A valid license is required.
• Support development and updates of Penspen's technical policies, procedures, and guidance documents.

• Good oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
