Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in Leyland to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing site. You will maintain production machinery, perform fault-finding, and carry out planned maintenance to maximise uptime and safety.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering bias is essential.
• Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Hands-on experience with planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on production machinery.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• React to breakdowns and restore production as quickly and safely as possible.
• Contribute to safe and efficient operation of site equipment.
