Pioneer Selection Ltd in Leyland, Lancashire, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy FMCG factory. You will perform reactive and planned maintenance across a range of automated production lines, with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

This role offers a generous salary of £47,598 (flexible for the right candidate), a 7-7 shift pattern (42 hours per week) and clear opportunities for training and career progression in a growing site.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) on production machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Maintain a wide range of production equipment (pallet wrappers, conveyors, packaging, cutting machines, compressors, boilers).
• Electrical fault finding on single and three-phase systems, motors, inverters, relays and drives.
• Mechanical maintenance including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, chains and belts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across site.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
• Work in line with health & safety, quality and operational standards.
