Job summary
Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a highly automated FMCG site in Leyland, Lancashire. The role covers reactive and preventive maintenance across modern production machinery and offers clear training and development pathways for progression.
The position is on a 7-7 shift (42 hours per week). The successful candidate will have multi-skilled maintenance experience and a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Engineering, with benefits including a pension, life
Qualifications
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise downtime.
- Maintain a range of equipment including pallet wrappers, conveyors, and packaging machines.
- Electrical fault finding on single and three-phase systems, motors, inverters and drives.
- Mechanical maintenance including hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, chains and belts.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across site.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
- Work in line with health & safety, quality and operational standards.
