Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Shift Engineer in Leyland for a fast-paced FMCG site. You will perform mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and PPM across production lines, ensuring reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical bias and industrial maintenance experience.
• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with planned maintenance, reactive repairs and breakdowns.
• Ability to diagnose faults and identify root causes.
• Willingness to work days and nights shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical maintenance and fault-finding on production machinery.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Minimise downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in safe working practices and risk assessments.
