Qualifications

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Salary: £52,000
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days & Nights (6-Week Pattern)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity

We're recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing operation in Kettering.

This is a hands‑on role focused on fault finding, breakdown response, planned maintenance and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with production teams to maximise machine uptime, improve reliability and help drive engineering standards across the site.

Shift Pattern

Weeks 1 & 2

Days: Monday-Wednesday
06:00 - 18:00

Weeks 3 & 4

Nights: Monday-Thursday
18:00 - 04:00

Weeks 5 & 6

Days: Thursday-Saturday
06:00 - 18:00

This rotating pattern provides regular long weekends and extended periods away from work.
