Job summary

Evolve Talent Search Ltd is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a respected facilities management business on a prestigious London portfolio in the City of London. This role operates in a professional, client-facing environment.

You will carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, working with AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and valves, and supporting heating, cooling and ventilation.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves and general HVAC.
• Understanding of health & safety and permit-to-work processes.
• Client-facing with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Work on plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves and general HVAC systems.
• Support heating, cooling and ventilation across the building.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Use the BMS and CAFM systems to monitor performance and close out tickets.
• Maintain plant rooms to a high standard and ensure compliance at all times.

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

£50,000 | Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00

We're looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a respected facilities management business on a prestigious London portfolio in the City of London. This is working in a professional, client-facing environment.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be:

• Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems
• Working on plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves, and general HVAC systems
• Supporting heating, cooling and ventilation systems across the building
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
• Using the BMS and CAFM systems to monitor performance and close out tickets
• Maintaining plant rooms to a high standard and ensuring compliance at all times

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll need:

• To be qualified (Level 2/3 City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC)
• Minimum 5 years' experience within building services or facilities maintenance
• Good understanding of health & safety and permit-to-work systems
• Client-facing with a professional, proactive approach
