HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer for a brand new site at Liverpool Street, City of London. The role offers a £50,000–£55,000 salary with private health, pension, and progression opportunities.

The position is on-site, with a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern after start, working 7am–7pm. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, troubleshoot faults, and support HVAC and electrical distribution across the site alongside experienced

Qualifications

• Fully qualified in a mechanical subject (C&G, NVQ, EAL, or equivalent).
• At least 5 years experience in commercial property maintenance.
• Apprentice trained - not essential but desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults.
• Work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Maintain emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Perform basic water treatment duties.
• Service and maintain distribution boards, motors, pumps, bearings, and seals.
• Maintain HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, VRVs, and VRFs.
• Replace filters and belts as required.
• Undertake general building fabric maintenance tasks.

We're currently recruiting for a well experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client on a brand new site based in Liverpool Street! This is a great opportunity if you're looking to work on a brand new contract, work alongside well experienced M&E engineers, and to be part of a highly renowned company within the building services sector.

As an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical systems on site, troubleshoot / fault find, diagnose faults, respond to emergencies and client requests, update site logbooks and report into the Engineering Manager.

This is a static position, starting off working Monday - Friday, before moving onto a 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern (7am - 7pm, no nights).
