Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a luxury commercial estate in Belgravia, central London. You will deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across high-end mechanical services and support a prestigious portfolio.

The role offers a Monday to Friday pattern (8:00am - 5:00pm), with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression within a leading FM provider.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant.
• Maintain pumps, motors, bearings, seals and related equipment.
• Service AHUs and FCUs, change filters and clean components.
• Monitor and operate BMS systems.
• Carry out basic electrical maintenance, including lighting repairs.
• General building fabric maintenance and contractor coordination.

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading FM service provider at a luxury commercial estate in the heart of Belgravia. The Role

Working across a prestigious commercial estate, you'll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to a wide range of mechanical building services equipment, ensuring the estate is maintained to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant
• Maintenance of pumps, motors, bearings, seals and associated equipment
• Servicing and maintaining AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning
• Water temperature monitoring and water hygiene compliance
• General plumbing repairs including taps, toilets, pipework and sanitaryware
• Monitoring and operating BMS systems
• Carrying out basic electrical maintenance including lighting repairs
• General building fabric maintenance
• Escorting and supervising specialist subcontractors
• Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently

About You

• City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and maintenance experience
• A multi-skilled approach with basic electrical knowledge
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• The ability to provide copies of relevant trade qualifications
