Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for Wickwar Quarry. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical defects and breakdowns efficiently and safely, identify root causes, implement solutions, and support preventative maintenance to ensure reliable and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose mechanical defects and perform repairs.
• Implement preventative maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Team Leader on plant reliability and safety.
• Plan and execute plant improvements and maintenance activities.
• Work with team members and contractors to support maintenance.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• Experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proficient in hydraulics, concrete pan mixers, welding, fabrication, mechanics.
• NVQ in Mechanical Maintenance, BTEC equivalent, or higher.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH qualification (advantageous).
