Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wolverhampton – West Midlands

Salary: £42,000 – £46,000

Working hours: 37 hours per week, flexible start time, half day Friday, 33 days holiday, 8x life insurance, healthcare package, employee share option, flexible benefits package, sick pay scheme, profit share bonus scheme, 9% Pension.

Our client is a leading manufacturer committed to producing high-quality products. Due to exciting plans for 2023, they are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Repair of all types of CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment
• Planning preventative maintenance schedules
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control circuits, electronic systems, and the ability to read and interpret schematics
• Active participation in site improvements
• Understanding machining/manufacturing principles and using precision measuring equipment such as Micrometers, Optical measuring devices, Multimeters

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• A recognised maintenance apprenticeship
• Previous experience in engineering/manufacturing roles
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and techniques including 5S

• Salary: £42,000 – £46,000
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, half day Friday
