Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in the region, the key requirements include:

• 3rd level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site-based MEP role
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a high-performance team

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing Health and Safety for all stakeholders
• Lead by example, promoting company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Be aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
• Maintain full knowledge of project Mechanical systems and track installation progress for compliance
• Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
• Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance
• Coordinate that rooms or areas meet CSA and MEP Quality standards for Beneficial Use in line with the construction program
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and project progress
• Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete works efficiently
• Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities for mechanical and CSA scope sequencing
• Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required
• Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels
• Ensure system stakeholders produce necessary documents such as programs, work trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
