Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in the region, the key requirements include:

• 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a site-based MEP role
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing health and safety of all stakeholders
• Lead by example, ensuring awareness of company-specific health & safety policies and procedures
• Be aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
• Understand project Mechanical systems and track installation compliance
• Assist in developing project-specific commissioning plans
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installation compliance
• Coordinate room and area standards for CSA and MEP quality and beneficial use
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information for system installation progress
• Ensure contractors and vendors are properly resourced
• Review construction schedules for opportunities to enhance program delivery
• Lead and participate in project meetings
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports
• Manage subcontractor activities, progress, and manpower
• Ensure production of necessary project documentation such as programs, trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
