Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in Region, the key Requirements include:

• 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
• Minimum 3 years’ plus experience in a site-based MEP role
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing the health and safety of all stakeholders in decision-making and execution
• Lead by example, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of Company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures, and that safety is a key discussion point
• Be fully aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out) related to these sources
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of project Mechanical systems and track installation to ensure compliance with specifications and schedule
• Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
• Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Coordinate that rooms or areas meet CSA and MEP quality standards for advanced Beneficial Use, aligned with the master construction schedule
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and progress in line with the master schedule
• Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete works successfully, streamlining electrical activity execution
• Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities and sequencing for Mechanical and CSA scope to enhance program delivery
• Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required
• Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels
• Review and ensure system mechanical stakeholders produce:
• Construction and Commissioning Programs aligned with the Master Schedule
• Works execution documents and trackers
• Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Progress reports aligned with their scope and schedule
• Field and Vendor turnover/handover packs as required
