Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in the region, the key requirements include:

• 3rd level qualification in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering or a trade background
• At least 3 years of experience in a site-based MEP role
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within a high-performance team

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing health and safety for all stakeholders
• Lead by example, communicating company health & safety policies and integrating safety into all discussions
• Be aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
• Maintain full knowledge of project Mechanical systems and monitor installation for compliance with specifications and schedule
• Understand project-specific commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
• Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance
• Coordinate that rooms or areas meet CSA and MEP quality standards for beneficial use, aligned with the construction schedule
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and project progression
• Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete works efficiently
• Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities for sequencing Mechanical and CSA activities to improve delivery
• Lead and participate in onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports as needed
• Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels
• Ensure that system stakeholders produce required documentation, including construction and commissioning programs, work trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
