Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in Region, the key Requirements include:

• 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
• Minimum 3 years’ plus experience in a site-based MEP role
• Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing Health and Safety of all stakeholders
• Lead by example in promoting company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Be aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out)
• Maintain full knowledge of project Mechanical systems and monitor installation for compliance with specifications and schedule
• Understand project commissioning requirements and assist in developing Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs)
• Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works for compliance
• Coordinate that areas meet CSA and MEP Quality standards for Beneficial Use
• Provide stakeholders with sufficient information for system installation progress
• Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to execute works successfully
• Review master construction schedule to optimize Mechanical and CSA activities
• Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders
• Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required
• Manage subcontractor activities, tracking progress and manpower
• Review and ensure production of necessary documentation by system stakeholders, including programs, work trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs
