Job description

Mechanical Lead or Mechanically bias Project Director required for a leading Tier 1 MEP Contractor. We have 2 notable schemes in PCSA and the latter to start in January 2026.

Candidates need to demonstrate a solid career history working in the Tier 1/2 MEP contracting or Tier 1 Main Contracting in Building Services. You will also be mechanically bias or have a proven track record of delivering large Shell & Core projects £20m plus in value or you will have worked on complex mechanical schemes in the Lifesciences Sector or Mission Critical space as far as Data Centres.

You will also be expected to demonstrate senior leadership skills running large Mechanical & Electrical teams. These are fully resourced teams up to 35-45 staff in size working to tight deadlines and prelims on the project.

You will already be working in the Tier 1 MEP space as Mechanical Lead or Senior Mechanical Project Manager on a significant project in terms of value and complexity. We are also happy to review Project Directors in the Principal contractor space that have a proven track record of delivery on MEP projects £30m plus in value.

This could also suit candidates looking to return from the UAE or Europe but will already have a portfolio of significant projects delivered in the UK.
