Job summary

RNN Group in Worksop is seeking a part-time Mechanical Engineering Lecturer for the North Notts Campus. This temporary role (22 hours per week) offers hourly pay up to £32.91, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus holiday pay.

You will deliver engaging labs and practical sessions, shaping the next generation of engineers. Requirements include a teaching qualification (or progression), a level 3+ Mechanical Engineering qualification, and prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one.
• Hold a level 3+ professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have experience of teaching students/apprentices.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload.
• Hold an assessor’s award (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, hands-on training across CAD, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, or manufacturing systems.
• Lead dynamic labs and practical sessions to build industry-ready engineers.
• Directly influence and modernize the College’s engineering programmes with current industry trends.

Salary: Up to £26.48 - £32.91 per hour plus holiday pay (dependant on experience and teaching qualification)
