Job summary

Babcock’s Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme offers two years of varied placements across Bristol, Ashchurch and Devonport, developing core mechanical skills while leading small teams on selected projects.

You will rotate every three to six months, with structured support, masterclasses, and mentorship to help you progress toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, while pursuing professional registration and advancing within a global defence-focused organisation.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through placements every 3–6 months to gain varied experience and broaden project exposure.
• Support the engineering lifecycle from concept to production, commissioning and decommissioning.
