Job summary

Babcock is offering a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme based at HM Naval Base Clyde in Scotland. During two years you rotate through placements every three to six months, tackling projects from concept design to production and in-service support, building leadership and technical skills along the way.

You'll join a global network of engineers and mentors, with structured development, masterclasses in communication and resilience, and support toward Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline
• Experience or track records in mechanical design or analysis is a plus
• Willingness to undergo BPSS and Security Check clearance

Responsibilities

• Rotate through placements every 3–6 months across engineering lifecycle
• Contribute to concept design, production, commissioning and in-service support
• Lead small project activities and participate in design reviews and stress analyses
