Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is partnering with a Warwick‑based engineering business to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer for the Project Delivery team. You will own mechanical work packages across the full lifecycle of automation projects, from concept feasibility through to handover to customers.

The role is hands‑on, requiring you to develop 3D CAD models, pneumatic schematics and detailed drawings, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across mechanical, electrical, software and

Qualifications

• A minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years' post‑graduate engineering experience.
• Experience designing and developing automation or special‑purpose machinery.
• Strong practical, hands‑on engineering experience.
• Good proficiency in 3D CAD, assemblies, pneumatic design and detailed drawings.
• Experience with BoMs, RFQs and supplier interaction.
• Experience with testing, root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Knowledge of validation processes such as DQ, FAT and SAT.
• Experience working within regulated industries would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality mechanical designs across full project lifecycles.
• Develop full 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed drawings from concept to manufacture.
• Produce pneumatic schematics and support design reviews and reverse‑build activities.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, risk assessments and technical evaluations.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BoMs) and support RFQs, supplier selection and procurement.
• Work hands‑on with engineers during build, testing and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute test protocols and support root cause analysis and design improvements.
• Produce technical documentation covering machine qualification, safety, compliance, operation and maintenance.
• Support DQ, FAT and SAT activities and resolve test non‑conformances.
