Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Warwick-based automation team. You will own mechanical work packages across the full lifecycle, from concept through build, test and handover, taking a hands-on approach.

You will develop 3D CAD models, produce pneumatic schematics and manage BoMs, with exposure to DQ/FAT/SAT and regulated environments considered advantageous. Hybrid working and a strong benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a 2:1 or higher.
• 3+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Experience designing automation or special-purpose machinery.
• Strong hands-on engineering capability.
• Proficient in 3D CAD, assemblies, pneumatic design and detailed drawings.
• Experience with BoMs, RFQs and supplier interaction.
• Experience with testing, root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Knowledge of validation processes such as DQ, FAT and SAT.
• Experience in regulated industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop full 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed drawings from concept to manufacture.
• Produce pneumatic schematics and support design reviews and reverse-build activities.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, risk assessments and technical evaluations.
• Manage BoMs and support RFQs, supplier selection and procurement.
• Work hands-on with engineering teams during build, test and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute test protocols and implement design improvements.
• Produce technical documentation covering machine qualification, safety, compliance, operation, training and maintenance.
• Support DQ, FAT and SAT activities and resolve test non-conformances.
• Manage engineering changes and change control procedures.
• Coordinate machine shipping and installation activities.
• Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and address queries.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines.
