Job summary

Reevr in Farnborough, United Kingdom, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own projects from concept to completion. You will lead mechanical design, liaise with Sales and customers, and drive technical leadership across the design office.

You will develop R&D concepts, manage budgets, and coordinate with Purchasing to control costs while delivering build-ready drawings and installation layouts.

Qualifications

• Minimum a strong engineering background with automation machinery experience.
• Experience in managing projects with budgets and customer liaison.
• Strong communication and planning skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial layouts and develop detailed design proposals.
• Produce GA drawings, detail drawings and BOMs.
• Lead design reviews with customers and internal teams.
• Manage multiple projects to strict deadlines.
• Visit customer sites to verify layouts and measurements.
• Provide technical support and resolve design queries.
