Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a time-served mechanical biased engineer for a large-scale building project, ideally with previous experience of large facilities. You will perform planned and reactive mechanical tasks, contribute to safety procedures, and act as an ambassador for OCS and Somerset House, supporting the building’s operations and service delivery.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, HAVAC installation and maintenance.
• General building skills.
• Prepared to work unsociable hours.
• Client facing — able to communicate at all levels.
• Trained in ACOP L8.

Responsibilities

• Completion of PPM to all Mechanical elements of the building.
• Completion of reactive tasks as required / directed
• Completion of ad-hoc building services works
• Completion of quoted works both inside and outside of normal working hours
• Occasional report writing
• Observe and comply with company Health Safety & Environmental procedures.
• Be an ambassador for OCS, maintain their core values
• Be an ambassador for Somerset House & interaction with public.
• Carry out any further reasonable requests made by management
