Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform PPM, proactive and reactive plumbing duties on site. You will provide technical engineering support with minimal supervision across mechanical servicing, repairs and installation for the OCS client.

You should hold a craft electrical qualification (City & Guilds) with 18th edition, CSCS card and be able to work across multiple trades, including minor repairs and legionella checks.

Qualifications

• Craft qualification such as electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 and AM2.
• Current wiring regulations qualification on City & Guilds 2381-18 (18th Edition).
• Valid in-date Grade card or CSCS Card or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through helpdesk within set time frames.
• Carry out plumbing duties on sites as required.
• Provide technical engineering service with minimal supervision for mechanical servicing and installation.
• Undertake service and maintenance of other assets/trades as competent.
• Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment.
• General building repairs and support to in-house trades.
• Support project refurbishment works and site engineer in maintenance including legionella checks.

About The Role

• To carry out plumbing duties on sites as and when required.
• To provide a technical engineering service with the minimum of supervision to the OCS client in respect of mechanical servicing, repairs, maintenance and installation.
• To undertake the service and maintenance of other assets/trades that were deemed competent to do so.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• To have basic knowledge of multi-disciplined trades
• Provide support to other in-house trades or complete other trade tasks, where deemed competent including minor plumbing repairs, tilling, painting and decorating and wet trades.
• Support the project team's refurbishment works
• Support site engineer in undertaking maintenance works including legionella checks and building fabric maintenance.
• Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and OCS QSHE policy.

Key Hiring Criteria

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK
• Previous experience working within Facilities Management.
• Ability to use electronic handheld devices.
• Full clean driving licence.

Essential Qualifications
