Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a time served Mechanical biased Engineer for large scale buildings. The role involves completing PPMs, reactive tasks, ad-hoc building services, and quoted works, with occasional out-of-hours duties.

You will be client facing, trained in ACOP L8, and uphold OCS values while working within the Somerset House environment and interacting with the public.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC installation and maintenance.
• General building skills.
• Prepared to work unsociable hours.
• Client facing with good communication.
• ACOP L8 training.

About The Role:

A time served Mechanical biased Engineer, ideally with previous experience of large scale buildings.

Skills and Experience

• City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in Mechanical, Plumbing, HAVAC installation and maintenance
• General building skills
• Prepared to work unsociable hours
• Client facing - able to communicate at all levels
• Trained in ACOP L8

Desirable

• Multi skilled across all FM trades including building fabric and minor electrical works
• Experienced in the installation of building services, specifically with all types of pipework
