Mechanical Design Engineer – London – Salary 37,300 with OTE 50,900 + Benefits – Ref 1920

I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in London. Salary up to 37,300 with an OTE of 50,900 + Benefits.

The organisation are leaders within their field delivering world class products into a specialist market. They have a team of highly motivated individuals that are extremely driven and pride themselves on delivering their innovative portfolio of products and engineering expertise to clients across the globe.

In this role as Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing a vast range of bespoke machinery from concept through to manufacture. In addition to this, you will be working with multi–disciplined Engineering teams and therefore would be liaising with staff on the shop floor right through to Director level.

Ideal Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 years experience as a Mechanical Designer or Draftsman
• Experience using 3D CAD (Ideally Inventor)
• Experience in DFM

Desirable:

• Experience with ATEX standards and / or Pneumatics
• Experience designing SPM or Process Machinery
• Knowledge of Sheet Metal fabrication
• Knowledge of CNC Machined components
• Experience working with ERP Systems
