The Role

We are seeking an Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering mechanical services for residential developments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical services for residential buildings.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated designs.
• Prepare technical drawings using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM.
• Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations and relevant standards.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process.
• Perform site visits when required to oversee project progress and ensure adherence to designs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, specifically for residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiarity with UK building regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple projects.
