Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £38,000 – £48,000

They are seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing London team, known for delivering award-winning MEP, civil, structural, and sustainability-focused solutions. With a portfolio spanning heritage buildings, commercial developments, and cutting-edge projects such as film studios and net zero offices, this role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead and support mechanical design on a variety of complex building services projects.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and directors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings and multidisciplinary design team sessions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support internal knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to process improvements and the development of sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.
What They're Looking For:
  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 24 months’ experience in building services or consultancy design role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and a strong understanding of technical standards (e.g., CIBSE, UK Building Regulations).
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ambition to progress towards Chartership (CEng).
