Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Cambridge is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an 8-week contract (Outside IR35). The role involves design and development of mechanical sub-modules for defence platforms, with strong CAD design skills and high-quality mechanical solutions.

You'll create 3D models in Creo, manage design data in Windchill, and support design reviews while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This onsite/hybrid position offers exposure to international supplier networks and rapid

• Manage and maintain design data within Windchill PLM systems.
• Support design reviews and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver solutions to demanding timelines.
• Liaise with manufacturing suppliers and production facilities to support rapid prototyping and low-volume manufacture.

Job Role – Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for the design and development of mechanical sub-modules for integration onto an advanced defence platforms platform. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong CAD design skills and experience delivering high-quality mechanical solutions.
