Job summary

PRS LTD in Harrogate is seeking a multi-skilled Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer for a permanent role. The successful candidate will cover the maintenance of a large estate, including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance tasks.

Circa £40,000 basic, Monday to Friday, 40 hours. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, work in plant rooms and with pumps/valves, and undertake compliance checks and small works.

Qualifications

• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance on building services.
• Experience with plant room, pumps, valves, and basic plumbing.
• Comfortable with AHU/FCU upkeep and compliance checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Maintain mechanical plant room equipment and associated infrastructure.
• Support plumbing maintenance and basic fabric tasks as needed.
• Carry out checks and compliance duties (water temps, taps, etc.).
• Undertake small works installations and emergency repairs.
• Handle ad-hoc maintenance tasks and client-facing duties.

Type: Permanent
Basic: circa £40,000
Location: Harrogate
We are recruiting for a multi skilled maintenance engineer based in the Harrogate area covering the maintenance of a large scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance etc.
The role is a permanent position paying circa £40,000 basic. Monday to Friday 40 hours per week, days

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Completing PPM and reactive maintenance to:
• Mechanical Plant room
• Pumps and valves
• Plumbing maintenance
• Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
• Checks and compliance duties including water/tap temps etc.
• Small works installation
• Emergency repairs
• All ad- hoc maintenance tasks

Requirements:

• A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial grade plumber
• Experience of plant room, AHU’s, FCU’s etc.
• Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
• Excellent client facing skills
• Valid driving license
• Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
• Willing and able to pass a security check
