Job Title: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role is distinct from a typical 'motor garage' mechanic position and involves building, repairing, and fabricating both road and competition vehicles.

2. Build and repair Tomcat road and competition cars
3. Repair racing damage and service vehicles
4. Work on off-road and track competition vehicles
5. Fabrication, electrical system repair, and light welding and machining

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills. Experience with fibre glass repairs, electrical systems, and light fabrication is essential. Welding and machining skills are preferred but not mandatory.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and freelance.

This position can be part-time, suitable for qualified mechanics seeking a career change or skilled car builders looking for part-time work in retirement. Travel for road testing and vehicle testing is required, and a clean UK driving licence is necessary.
