Job Opportunity: Mechanic / Engineer / Car Builder at Tomcat Motorsport Ltd

Tomcat Motorsport Ltd is seeking a versatile professional to join our team. This role involves:

1. Building and partial building of Tomcat road and competition cars
2. Repairing and servicing racing damage and other off-road and track competition vehicles
3. Fabrication and repair work, including electrical systems, fibre glass repairs, welding, and machining (preferred but not essential)

The ideal candidate should be a capable mechanic with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, especially in technical and build challenges. Experience in electrical systems, fibre glass, welding, and machining is advantageous.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the project engineer alongside other team members, both permanent and freelance.

This position can be part-time, suitable for a qualified mechanic seeking a career change or a skilled car builder looking for part-time work in retirement. A clean UK driving license is required as road testing will be part of the role.
