The Education Network is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to work in a SEN setting in Birmingham. The role is available on a permanent or supply basis, with a flexible start and a focus on KS3 and KS4 provision for EHCP pupils with SEMH needs.
You will teach small groups, differentiate lessons, support well-being, and collaborate with a strong SLT to foster a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child matters.
When you think SEN School you may think SEN or SEMH provision for children and young adults. But what do you actually know about the school? Let me tell you - This is an amazing school, primarily because they prioritise outcomes for the children and young adults they support and provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for their staff. By doing this the staff are able to achieve more for the children they support because the overall approach is more holistic. Sounds good, doesn't it?
We are supporting this school by recruiting a Maths Teacher to start at October half-term, the school are happy to be flexible for the right person and offer this role on a permanent or supply basis. This setting works to primary-style model across KS3 and KS4, supporting children with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Importantly they offer educational support and care within and beyond the school gates, not to mention a smile for every child.
This is demanding but extremely rewarding work. If you want to be part of a supportive school community where staff genuinely have each other's backs - and make a real difference for children - this could be your next step.
