We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging mathematics lessons to students across various age groups and abilities. Prepare and deliver comprehensive maths lessons tailored to the curriculum and individual student needs
Assess student progress through regular testing, assignments, and observations
Provide personalised tutoring and support to students requiring additional assistance in mathematics
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
Incorporate scientific research and real-world applications, such as biochemistry or laboratory experiments, where appropriate
Proofread and review teaching materials to ensure accuracy and clarity
Mentor students in their academic development, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and curriculum content
Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching methods accordingly
Strong knowledge of mathematics, including advanced topics where applicable
Experience in mentoring, tutoring, or teaching in formal or informal settings
Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse learners
Behaviour management skills to maintain an orderly classroom environment
Ability to proofread educational materials for accuracy and coherence
Experience working with students requiring special education support is essential
Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively and track student progress
