TeacherActive Limited. is seeking a nurturing and committed Maths Teacher with QTS for a long-term role in Stoke-on-Trent. You will teach across KS3/KS4/KS5 and prepare GCSEs, supporting students to achieve strong academic results.

Job Title: Maths Teacher

Salary Range: £150 - £190

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEND school based in Stoke. The school supports students with SEMH / Social Emotional Mental Health and EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. This school that supports 11-19 year olds boasts fantastic leadership and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote student engagement, helping their young people to flourish both academically and personally.

The HeadTeacher is looking to take on a nurturing and committed Maths Teacher with QTS, on a Long-Term basis until the end of the academic year. This will lead to a permanent position for the right Maths Teacher. The successful Maths Teacher will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4/ KS4, including exam preparation for GCSE s. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful Maths Teacherwill have:

• QTS with Maths specialism (ECT s are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 / KS4 or Key Stage 5 / KS5

• Excellent classroom management
